The word Arcadis comes from Greek mythology, meaning "Paradise". We believe it best represents our commitment to laying down the best quality conditions for life for all of us.

Because of its amazing ability to live both in water and on dry land, we use the salamander in our logo as a perfect symbol of ecological equilibrium.

The ARCADIS group sees the environment and human influence on it as inseparable components of a single whole. We strive to enable these two seemingly opposite worlds to exist side by side together in peace and harmony.
